2009 Sample Itinerary
Thursday 24th December – Christmas Eve
Arrive at your leisure where a friendly welcome awaits you, along with afternoon tea served between 3pm and 5pm.
Outside the Heanton Bar between 6pm and 7pm, the Jubilee Choir will sing a selection of carols to get you in the Christmas spirit. Dinner will be served from 7pm.
After dinner, join the management and staff for Victorian party games.
Friday 25th December – Christmas Day
“A very Merry Christmas to all our guests”
Begin the day with a hearty full English breakfast served from 8am then join the manager for his Christmas Cocktail Party from 11.30am in the Heanton Bar.
Your sumptuous Christmas Day Carvery Lunch will be available from 12 noon, and the Queen’s Speech will be shown in the Ashford Suite at 3pm.
Christmas cake, tea and coffee will be served in the Heanton Bar at 3.15pm. The Christmas Day Buffet will be served at 7pm followed by a fun quiz and bingo, with prizes of cuddly toys and hotel breaks to be won.
Saturday 26th December – Boxing Day
Breakfast will be served from 8am. Today provides a chance to relax in the hotel or Health Club – perhaps unwind with a swim or sauna.
Dinner will be served from 7pm in the Arlington Suite, followed by a “Night at the Races”. If you’ve still got some energy left, dance the night away to our resident disco.
Sunday 27th December
Breakfast is served from 8am, leaving you plenty of time to wander into town and browse the sales before enjoying your complimentary tickets to the Queen’s Theatre’s Pantomime, at 2.30pm.
Dinner will be served from 7pm, followed by an evening of Cabaret.
Monday 28th December
Enjoy a delicious breakfast from 8am before setting off on your journey home.
